2024年10月23日下午，本學程高主任與國際商務系林純如教授共同邀請比利時駐台代表Mr. Matthieu Branders拜訪本校，Mr. Matthieu Branders先與本校任立中校長與凱達西國際長進行晤談後，緊接著以台灣、比利時與歐盟之三邊關係為主題，對本校師生作專題演講，內容涵蓋比利時的歷史與政府體制，比利時在歐盟體系的重要角色，以及比利時與台灣的經貿關係，在隨後的開放問答過程中，本校師生也與Mr. Matthieu Branders進行熱絡的互動交流，整場活動相當圓滿成功。 On the afternoon of October 23, 2024, Professor Kao of the MLNGT, along with Professor Lin from the Department of International Business, jointly invited Mr. Matthieu Branders, Representative of Belgium to Taiwan, to visit NTUB. Mr. Branders first met with President Jen and Director of International Affairs, Dr. D’Arcy, for a discussion. Following that, he delivered a special lecture to our faculty and students on the topic of Taiwan, Belgium, and the European Union's trilateral relations. The lecture covered Belgium's history and governmental structure, Belgium's significant role within the EU system, and Belgium-Taiwan trade and economic relations. During the subsequent open Q&A session, our faculty and students had an enthusiastic and engaging exchange with Mr. Matthieu Branders. The entire event was a great success.
