Today, the Master’s Program on Law and Negotiation for Global Trade (MLNGT) of National Taipei University of Business (NTUB), led by Director Professor Chi-Chung Kao, visited the Office of Trade Negotiations (OTN) under the Executive Yuan with a delegation of ten graduate students. The purpose of the visit was to enhance students' understanding of Taiwan's trade policy formulation, the negotiation of international trade agreements, and the practical operation of inter-agency coordination mechanisms. Through this visit, students were expected to deepen their professional knowledge of international trade law, negotiation strategies, and policy analysis, while integrating academic learning with practical experience, broadening their global perspectives, and strengthening their commitment to public service.

The MLNGT has long been dedicated to cultivating professionals equipped with legal expertise, international trade knowledge, and negotiation skills. Through this visit to the OTN, the program also aims to establish a platform for future communication and collaboration between the two institutions. In particular, the visit sought to explore potential opportunities for students to participate in summer internships and professional training programs, thereby providing valuable exposure to trade negotiation-related work, enabling them to accumulate practical experience, and fostering stronger collaboration among academia, government, and industry in cultivating internationally competitive trade negotiation professionals with the capacity to contribute effectively to public policy.
