[8 October 2026] Academic Exchange and Roundtable Discussion with Prof. Hoshi Junko from Ibaraki University, Japan
Today, an academic exchange and roundtable discussion with Prof. Hoshi Junko from Ibaraki University, Japan, was held at the University Library. Students from the Master’s Program on Law and Negotiation for Global Trade (MLNGT), led by Director Prof. Kao Chi-Chung, actively participated in the presentation and discussion sessions. Director Prof. Sun Ay-Wei of the Department of Applied Foreign Languages also attended this event. The agenda featured student research presentations on key global and regional issues. Notably, MLNGT student Tsai Wei-Lun presented his research on the theme of "Global Impact of China's EV Supply Chain". Prof. Hoshi, Prof. Sun and Prof. Kao provided insightful commentary during the Q&A, encouraging lively discussion among all participants.
At the conclusion of the event, Director Prof. Kao delivered closing remarks and gave an introduction to the MLNGT program. The MLNGT has long been dedicated to cultivating professionals equipped with legal expertise, international trade knowledge, and negotiation skills. Through this roundtable discussion, the program continues to broaden students' international perspectives, enhance cross-cultural communication abilities, and foster meaningful academic exchange with Japanese institutions
